Why professional voice actors matter

Professional direction and audio review help protect performance, language accuracy and file quality.

Performance direction

A voice actor can be directed on tone, pace and emphasis, so the recording fits the scene and the brand.

Language and market suitability

Voice actors working in their own language recognise wording, register and cultural details that a direct translation can miss.

Human interpretation

Voice actors use meaning, emotion, pauses and emphasis to create a natural performance.

Common questions

What do you need to prepare an accurate quote?

We need your script or an approximate word count, the languages, where the audio will be used, your delivery date, and any timing or file requirements. If something is still unknown, select “Not sure”. We will help you define it.

Can I request a quote with only a draft script?

Yes. Partial project details are enough to start. We will tell you which details change the price, and confirm the final figure once the script is final.

Can I listen to voice samples before recording starts?

Yes. We send voice samples selected for the language, market, tone and format of your project. Recording starts only after you approve the voice actor.

When will I receive the quote?

A producer reviews every request by hand, so the reply time depends on how complete your project details are. A request with the script, languages, intended use and delivery date can be quoted directly. If a detail is missing we ask first, which adds a step before the quote.

How long does production take?

Production time is driven by three things: the length of the script, the number of languages, and whether the recording has to match picture. We confirm a delivery date in writing with the quote, before you approve anything, so the schedule is agreed rather than estimated.

How is voice-over pricing calculated?

Price is based on the script length or final running time, the language, the media and intended use, the target market, the licence period, whether the recording must match picture, the file preparation required, and the delivery date. Your written quote sets these out before you commit.

What is the difference between a recording correction and a script change?

A recording correction fixes a mistake in the recording, such as a misread line or a name pronounced incorrectly. A script change is new or edited text after recording. Corrections are part of the job; script changes are quoted separately, and we confirm both in writing with your quote.

Can you handle several languages with one contact and one invoice?

Yes. One production contact coordinates every language in your project, so you do not manage separate suppliers, schedules or invoices for each market.

Can you work under a non-disclosure agreement?

Yes. Tell us in your project details and we will arrange it before you send any confidential script or material.
